These Kukri knives are heavy, curved knives originally used as both weapon and machete. Today they are mostly used as bushcraft tools and are often called “Gurkha blades”.
It features a twelve inch blade made of SK-5 high-carbon steel. Its got a black, anti-rust coating.
The handle is textured Kraton that may be a bit rough on your hands. You’ll probably want to wear gloves with this one.
Note that there is a much less-expensive version of this knife available as well. The cheaper one features a medium-carbon blade and PVC handle. It sells for about twenty bucks while the high-end one is over a hundred.
Includes a cordura sheath.
