Cold Steel Kukri Machete These Kukri knives are heavy, curved knives originally used as both weapon and machete. Today they are mostly used as bushcraft tools and are often called “Gurkha blades”.

It features a twelve inch blade made of SK-5 high-carbon steel. Its got a black, anti-rust coating.

The handle is textured Kraton that may be a bit rough on your hands. You’ll probably want to wear gloves with this one.

Note that there is a much less-expensive version of this knife available as well. The cheaper one features a medium-carbon blade and PVC handle. It sells for about twenty bucks while the high-end one is over a hundred.

Includes a cordura sheath.
