Colt M4-K Folder Black Serrated Blade | Folding Knife Review

47 sec read

Colt M4-K Folder Black Serrated Blade Here’s another sturdy product from Colt Knives that’s both durable and affordable: the M4-K Folder. It’s a good one to consider if you’re a southpaw or if you’re a fan of ambidextrous knives, since it’s made to accommodate both right and left handers.

The M4-K’s blade is partially serrated with an extensive top false edge and a sharp spear-like point at the tip. It’s made from 440 stainless steel with a bead blast finish and elite CryoEdge treatment. CryoEdge uses liquid nitrogen rather than water to cool the steel faster, so it gives the blade a higher temper that is more flexible, easier to sharpen, and holds the edge better, especially when combined with 440 quality steel.

The handle is made from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum with a black anodized finish as well as a black, non-slip Magna-Grip insert. You’ll find ambidextrous thumb studs on either side, as well as a safety lanyard hole at the end of the handle. And it comes with a handy stainless steel clip so you don’t have to add more bulk inside your pockets.

All these features make the Colt M4-K easy to hold on to, easy to employ, and easy to wield. Plus, its affordability makes it easy to get. It’ll stay sharp for a long time, and will come in handy whenever you need it.
