Fallkniven H1 Hunting Knife Review | Fixed Blade Bushcraft Knife | 3G Steel, Kraton Handle

34 sec read

Fallkniven H1 Hunting Knife The H1 from Fallkniven is one of the most frequently-recommended bushcraft knives, despite the fact that it’s technically a “hunting” knife and not a bushcraft knife at all.

The blade is 4 inches of powdered 3G steel. Fallkniven feels so confident that this is one of the best steels available that they abandoned the revered VG-10 steel that they had been using to make this blade as recently as two years ago.

The handle is a sticky, textured Kraton rubber for a firm grip in any type of weather.

There is no finger guard on this blade so it may not be appropriate for a novice. In particular, any stabbing motion is a minor injury risk, though the majority of cuts with this knife should be of the slicing variety. That, coupled with the sticky rubber grip should minimize the danger.

Included is a leather sheath.
