Spyderco Byrd Finch Folder Knife | 8CR13MoV High Carbon Steel

39 sec read

Finch, Black FRN Handle, PlainThe Finch knife from Spyderco’s Byrd family of knives is a small, lightweight, and convenient knife for multiple uses.

The blade is made of high quality 8CR13MoV steel that is honed to a fine, plain edge. That type of steel blends carbon with Chromium and Vanadium to produce a strong blade that also holds an edge well. A serrated edge or combo edge is also available.

Like other members of the Byrd family of knives, the Finch maintains the high standard of quality that you expect from a company like Spyderco but at a surprisingly affordable price. Some variations of this knife are under twenty bucks on Amazon.

The handle features a convenient ball and clasp chain system for easy carrying and a back lock for safety. It also features a finger choil that lets you “choke up” on the knife for better control.

The Finch knife from Spyderco is a great economical way to maximize quality without breaking the bank. It’s available with a stainless steel handle as well.
