I guess Victorinox finally took the hint from Leatherman and started making folding tools that were more accessible and modern looking. They’ve always made great pocket knives, so I was anxious to see how this one turned out.
The SwissTool is more compact and lightweight than the full-sized Leatherman multitools. If you’re looking for a heavy-duty tool, go with the leatherman.
But if you’re looking for a versatile, compact tool that is pretty inexpensive, the SwissTool is a great choice.
It includes a knife, pliers, four screwdrivers, wire cutter/bender/stripper, can and bottle opener, hook, saw, reamer, chisel, scissors, file, and a few more tools as well.
It also includes a leather belt pouch. That’s handy since, with so many tools, you’re bound to reach for this thing pretty often.
