Victorinox Swiss Army Expedition Pocket Knife | Digital Altimeter, Thermometer

47 sec read

Victorinox Swiss Army Expedition SetIf you don’t mind keeping up with a little digital maintenance every now and then, you’d probably love to have the Swiss Army Expedition knife in your pocket the next time you go on a hike.

This Victorinox set comes with ten standard Swiss Army accessories, but it’s the other stuff that makes it worth mentioning: a digital altimeter and thermometer display on the case, along with a ruler and compass with spirit level.

The thermometer will display temperatures in both Fahrenheit and Celsius degrees, and the altitude in both meters and feet. But in order for the altimeter to work properly, you have to reset it every time you’re about to hit the trail, since it’s sensitive to changes in atmospheric pressure.

You’ll also find a plain-edge large knife, small knife, screwdriver, bottle opener, corkscrew, wood saw, can opener, reamer, and scissors inside the case, with a key ring on top in case you don’t want to keep it in the included belt pouch.

So if you’re an avid hiker, this is one nifty tool to consider. Several more helpful tips about the Expedition Set can be found on Amazon. We can’t list every one of them here, but they’re all worth reading. Comes with Victorinox’s lifetime warranty.
