Oxo Good Grips Mango Splitter | Slicer Review

57 sec read

Oxo Good Grips Mango Splitter As most of you cooks know, when you try out any of the OXO Good Grips products, you’ll usually be pleased. The handles are comfortable, and the rest of the product is high quality as well. And the prices are always appealing too.

So we didn’t expect anything different with OXO’s Mango Splitter. The blades are stainless steel, and are quite sharp. And it’s dishwasher-safe, so when you’re done using it, you don’t have to worry about washing those awkward blades by hand.

The dimensions are 5.25 x 6.75 x 2, not too hard to store in your kitchen.

You’ll hear a lot of mixed reviews on the market for this product though, so we’ve devised a hassle-free way to determine if you should consider the OXO Mango Splitter or not. Read below:

Don’t buy if: you have a hard time following directions, only use 1 mango a year, don’t own a dishwasher, have very weak upper body strength, or you live in an area where mangos are ridiculously large in size.

But DO buy if: you like mangos and use them at least a few times a year, have no problems figuring out how to use new products, and don’t mind a trivial amount of flesh left on the pit in exchange for two effortlessly-sliced mango halves.

You can even see photos online of what the mango looks like after you’ve cut it. Check it out and see if it would work for you. If so, we’re sure it’ll last quite a while in your kitchen.
